VX49 Software Editor: Changing MIDI Channels

My controller won't let me (or its too difficult) to change the MIDI Channels.

I see that a previous model (VI) has a software editor to help with this. Is there one for the VX49? Not finding it on the website.

Any help appreciated. I'll even beta test for Alesis!

Thank you.

You should be able to do everything in MIDI edit mode

There was also a software package for the VX49 that included VIP software.

You have to register the keyboard then a download link will appear in your account

Hello, Timothy

Thanks for posting!

This keyboard is meant to work with the VIP software, so there is no direct editor like there is for the V, VI, and Vortex series. However, you can make adjust the MIDI channel of the board in your Global Settings, you do not need an extra piece of software to do this.

Hope this helps!
