Volume problems with Alesis Recital

Our keyboard’s volume is not working. It used to be just fine but all of a sudden the max volume is very low. It is not enjoyable to play. Something is definitely wrong.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your Recital.

Have you tried performing a factory reset on your keyboard? To restore your Recital to the factory default settings, hold the Reverb and Chorus buttons while powering on the Recital. The following parameters will be reset to their default values: Reverb, Chorus,Metronome Tempo, Metronome Time Signature, Metronome Volume, Upper Volume, Lower Volume, Split Volume, Split Point, MIDI Channel, Touch Sensitivity, and Auto Power Off.

I also have the same problem no sound and I did your reboot- I have not had the Alesia recital Pro very long.

holding Reverb and Chorus buttons did the trick for me. but why did this happen in the first place

I had to reset mine a different way. Turn on the Recital. Then hold the Chorus and Lesson buttons for 10 seconds. Mine reset itself. All the other options didn't workl

The reset suggested didn't work for me but this, the above instruction, did. Thanks you very much for this much needed tip. :-)

Thanks so much for this advice and this forum, I thought I was going to have to get a new keyboard.
