Poor Response on Crimson Ride Pad.

Hello, Alesians

Just want to report a Problem, although minor but still;
I was having trouble with lack of response from the ride pad from my crimson kit.
Meanwhile I spotted that the jack wouldn't go all the way in; as the jack socket would pressure out the male plug. And so, while holding the jack all the way in, the ride would respond without any flaws. I tried to fix it, by inspecting the guts of the pad but it needs a proper jack socket to replace the one that is installed, so in the meantime I'm using a hair tie to secure the jack inside.
If someone could point me to a replacement jack I would much appreciate.

This is not a common problem with the ride pads on this kit, sorry to hear you are experiencing that. Hi Criss

I think a new cymbal is a bit overkill for a just bad connection (specialy for my wallet). I’ll stick with the rubber band for now.

Sorry to hear that, but if you reached out to a dealer or distributor in that area they will not have internal parts either. It's not something we keep on hand. However, here are the nearest dealers and distributors in case you want to replace the cymbal.

Earlier this month I have moved in to a new practice room, and the pad seems to work better without the rubber hack. I’ll keep an eye on it, and try to figure out where the problem resides.
