MultiMix 10 wireless channels 5/6 7/8 channels dead, Peak LED stuck on

Hello, I have a MultiMix 10 Wireless with channels 5/6 and 7/8 acting dead. No cables are attached into the unit - nothing connected except the power cord. When all of the potentiometers - Trim, Pre, Post, EQ levels, and slider, are all at minimum, the LED is off. However, when the bass EQ level is turned up just a bit to about 1/4 of a turn, the Peak LED comes on. Remember, nothing is plugged into the device.

Anyone have this problem or know how to solve? I'm thinking my device is out of warranty and can't find my receipt. The unit has been well cared for (physically and electrically clean environment) and has not seen daylight outside of my living room. This is a big problem in quality control and lifetime of the equipment.

Notice in the pictures, the bass knob positions are just at the point of making the LEDs turn off or on in each photo.

Any info appreciated.
P.S., when adding this article, there was no option to choose a product named MultiMix 10 Wireless. Only the MultiMix 8's were listed.
