I have been enjoying my Alesis VI25 very much, but now I'm stuck at a dead end.
The switches' leds don't seem to respond to midi. Is there a midi feedback for the leds or am I missing something? If I change the mapping of the switches to toggle and send their midi cc number form the pc to the keyboard with value 127 the led should turn on and with value 0 they should turn off (at least in systems with led feedback that's how it works). Can the second midi port be used for led feedback? What is its purpose?

I've seen this post https://getsatisfaction.com/alesis/to... and I can see the pads color are not mapped by midi. Are the switches leds not mapped either? Is there a way to solve this? Can sysex solve this?
