M1 Active MK2 Fuse Keeps Blowing

Hi,

I've been using my trusty pair of M1 Actives for nearly 15 years without a problem. Recently the fuse blew in one of them after plugging in the power and since then keeps on blowing whenever I turn on the power.

I've checked the circuit board and it looks clean with nothing else having blown/leaked etc. I've also made sure I'm using the correct fuse.

Any ideas what might be happening and how to fix it.

Thanks

Hi Simon,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your M1 Active speakers.

I'm afraid I don't have any information concerning the internal workings of the speaker, as this information is only available to our authorized service centers. Given the information you've provided, it sounds like your speakers may need to be serviced. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

• Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Alesis Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

or

• For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
