M1 Active 620 makes static noise, disconnects at certain frequencies

Hi all,

One of my M1 Active 620 monitors has the following symptoms:

1. It is making a static-like noise when it is turned off but plugged in.
2. The noise gets louder when it is turned on.
3. When playing music, it disconnects at certain low frequencies.

This is only happening to one of the monitors.

I appreciate any help with this. I can replace parts such as capacitors, resistors, etc. myself, so please let me know if you know what part is the culprit.

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for posting. Sorry you're having issues with your M1 Active 620s.

It sounds like your product may need to be serviced. Warranty and non-warranty claims are not handled here on the forum, but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

• Submit a Warranty or Service inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Alesis Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu.

or

• For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
