Is a firmware update for VI series coming soon to make it a real production midi controller ?

I'm asking, because i will return mine to the store on wednesday if there is no news anywhere about that.

What i'm complaining at is :
- No midi feedback is received by the keyboard.
- No customization of the drum pads possible with the led system
- No tempo sync between my DAWs and the keyboard

I'm not complaining without knowing as the Tech Support was not able to give me solutions for these complaints...

As it is for now, this keyboard is UNFINISHED and useless...

I prefer to pay 200 € more and get a real Controller. Period.

Hello Theirry,

I truly appreciate the passion you have for the product. Thanks for posting again! Some of these questions are even awesome feature requests for the product. To answer your questions, first, the VI controller only has a MIDI Out.

As for your second question, You can customize the midi messages of the pads but not the lights. The colors only change due to the velocity (how hard) you hit the pads. A slight tap would turn the pad green or blue as a hard tap turns the pad red. It may appear that you can change the colors of the pads on the VI controller but in actuality, at this time you can't. Trust when I say, I've forwarded this request to my team too.

Lastly, as for your last question, the tempo button can only be used with external midi devices.

I think the pads not being lit up at all times is false advertising, as everywhere it's seen, including the box it came in, shows all the pads lit up. The velocity idea is pretty useless, we know how hard we've hit it, we don't need it to tell us afterwards.

Please make it like the pads on the Trigger Finger Pro and every other newer pad controller out there.
