Hi Ed,

Thanks for posting.

The VI61 is class-compliant, so it will work with virtually any operating system without drivers.

now find out it does not work for Windows 10?
Can you please elaborate a little more on the issue(s) you're experiencing?

Hi, I've been using VI61 with WIndows 10 for about a year. No problems.

Please make sure Windows 10 sends performance information to the first input port. Use the second input port to send Sysex with the VI61 editor.

Also, if you are using usb hub, bypass it as a point of troubleshooting.

I have the same problem. The hardware works fine but the editor does not load or store patches. Comes up with a midi connection error. I need to return mine sadly as I need patches.
