How to record via MIDI with my DM5 module

I really wanna use this DM5 to record on my daw, but I cant get it to make sound via midi

Thanks for posting. 

Keep in mind that MIDI does not transmit sound. MIDI will only send messages to your computer or MIDI module to tell it what sound(s) to make. What software are you using with your DM5?

Thanks for your reply, i am using samplitude DAW, all i wanna donis play the DM5 and record each sounds as in kick, snare, toms and hats in seperate channels on the DAW, is it possible with that module though?

I'm not familiar with that DAW that you're using, but you should be able to use the DM5 in virtually any DAW. Given that the DM5 didn't include a USB port on the back, you would need to connect this to your computer using a MIDI module, such as the M-Audio MIDISport 1x1. Additionally, I've included a guide below that will walk you through setting up a MIDI device within Samplitube:
