DM Touch missing from App Store

Apologies for my first post being an alarm.
Pretty much as the title suggests, the app is missing from the Apple App Store.
Equally, Alesis is missing completely as a developer.

Is this due to the forthcoming iOS update later this week?
Is DM Touch finally being updated too?

If it's gone for good, that's pretty alarming news for anyone who has purchased a DM Dock since the app was withdrawn, rendering it almost useless.

I have found an application called iMazing that seems to allow me to download the dmtouch app to an older ipad 4.

I initially had downloaded dm touch for my dm dock. I never really used the dm dock with an old band I was in but now need it.

Since the ipad 4 fits the dock and was supposed to be used for that specific application, I really wanted to have the app loaded but it was not available.

However, I was fortunate to have an ipad air 2 that still has the app loaded. I was able to transfer the app file from the ipad air 2 to my mac, then plug in the ipad 4 and manage / install the app.

When iMazing loads, you have the option to manage apps. This connects you to the app store and DM Touch was visible. I am not sure if it was because I had saved it locally or if it actually is something they are able to see that our devices aren't.

However, as of today Jan 27, 2020 it installed directly to the ipad 4 (using iMazing) and seems to be operational as I need it.

Hope this helps.

it turns out that, it is only possible to download apps that had previously been downloaded and installed, using imazing. im still stuck since ive never had an ipa file of DM Touch. Thank you though. I'm giving BARBAXDRUMS a try. the developer was a DM Dock user as well.

There is a version of iTunes you won't find in the downloads at Apple....
v12.6.5.3( Published Date: August 14, 2019)
I use it all the time for iPad 4 and earlier as I have a large amount of 32 bit paid/FREE apps backed up.
It will also work on 64 bit models if you are running up to 10.3.4
This will allow drag and drop into iTunes if you have a copy (or backed up) of a 32 bit app etc then you can install through iTunes ( pre-iOS11)
It was for Business' that have 32 bit apps and still wish to deploy them.(pre-iOS11)
iOS11 will not allow 32 bit apps. will install over an existing iTunes even if it's current..then when your done you can manually update to current iTunes.

"Deploy apps in a business environment with iTunes
After installation is complete, you can continue to deploy apps with iTunes.
You won’t be prompted to download new versions of iTunes after you install this version.
Manually update to the latest version of iTunes when you finish managing your devices to ensure you have the most up-to-date software."

There was also version 12.6.3..that also has the app store, but I have never installed it as there are a few more steps involved such as reassign the library etc..
v12.6.5.3 works perfectly for me.

All that Alesis has to do is provide a downlad of the DM Touch ipa as it was a free app
