Cymbal 2 input cymbal not registering two different MIDI notes... no double touch...

I have a DM10 MKII Pro and am having issues with the second crash cymbal. It won't register two different MIDI notes like crash 1. When I switch them, it works as crash one but then the one that did work, doesn't work in crash 2 slot. I've interchanged all of the connections to the cymbals, swapped around. The issue is always with whatever is in crash 2 input. I am praying that this is a setting and I have it on single touch or something. Could that be the case?

Hello, Rob

Thanks for posting!

Just to clarify what you have tried if you use the Crash 1 PAD (sends 2 MIDI notes) with the Crash 2 CABLE it only sends one?

It sounds like it may be a cable snake issue if both Crash pads are working just fine with one of the cables. Are you able to change the sounds in the module or are you working with a DAW and a drum VST?

Let me know!

I was using a cable with 2 rings instead of 3!!! ugh gods. This has happened before. I just have so many of both. Wrong one is mono right and the other stereo.

I was using a guitar audio cord when I should have been using a computer audio cord.. My B. Set works poyfect.
