Hello, MB

Thanks for posting!

Firewire has been long discontinued. This product will not work with any current Windows or Mac operating systems. I would recommend updating to a newer mixer or interface :)

Hope this helps!

umm I beg to differ Criss , my io26 is working fine on my windows 10 computer in my Studio, I just wanted it to work with my keyboard rig , for live work on my MacBook Pro. I mean I understand you wish to sell products, but to withdraw support from users, by not updating the drivers, I have an opinion on that, Alesis is happy to take our money for the interface but where on your advertising does it say "oh by the way before you buy this be aware it will be unsupported in "x" years" we still brought your product, you still have our money, but we have a house brick of an interface. I will now be using my MOTU interface live because they still support firewire

Hello, mb

We are not saying that it's impossible for a Firewire interface to work with a Windows 10 computer, it's just not something that is promoted to work. If it works, great! I would *not* update that computer because it will become incompatible  Firewire has been discontinued amongst All Music Manufacturers this is not just Alesis. Its the nature of technology, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0+ have higher bandwidth amongst other benefits which is why most interfaces have this connection option instead.

Hope this clears things up for you.
