Alesis crimson and Strike Pro Cymbal Help

I recently purchased a 16” Strike Pro Ride for my Crimson Kit. It doesn’t seem to be triggering properly. The cymbal has 2 inputs for the ride and the crimson only offers 1 cable for the ride. Do I need to get a splitter? If so where/what kind?

Hello, Lloyd

Thanks for posting!

This Strike Pro Ride is not compatible with the Crimson Module. You need 2 TRS cables connected into the Ride to get all 3 zones. If you go into the Ride 1 Port, you will get bell and bow response but not the edge. That is reserved for port 2.

Sorry for the confusion!

Will getting a splitter cable work?

Hello, Lloyd

It will not. This Ride needs a TRS and TS input simultaneously. It will only work with the Strike Pro Kit and DM10MKII Pro Kit.

Sorry for the confusion.
