OBS Streaming with the Mpc Live

I want to stream a synth but the sampler's monitor function does not route audio through the "output's 1,2,". My ultimate goal is sampling my synth but there are gaps in the stream where there is no audio. What should I do?

I am using the Reastream plugin to internally broadcast the audio to OBS. I ran a third Reastream plugin on the sampler inserts but that corrupted the audio for the entire stream.

Hey Collabo Beatworx,

Thanks for posting!

The Sampler doesn't route realtime audio but records and saves the sample to either MPC's Sample Pool or to your destination of choice. I would suggest recording to an audio track because you can select Output 1/2. You can then choose the Reastream plugin as an insert on the audio track.

To be honest, audio streaming can cause a lot of signal degradation. It sounds like you may be experiencing drop-outs over your network, causing the sample to cut in and out. My advice would be to connect your synth directly to the Live to sample into MPC. A direct, cabled connection will always provide higher fidelity.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I have the audio working now by plugging my MPC into my UR242 interface. There is a clicking sound that is always present. I can stream the audio with the Reastream method and the window for Cubase is set to render on my graphics card so my laptop can capture it in OBS. My issue now ia that the mpc will no longer record or monitor the phone line input. I believe it is because it is being used as a plug-in in Cubase which I am more familiar with Daw-Wise. What should I do to release it from Cubase's midi control?

The Reastream is a "local" connection why would it cause signal degradation?
