Need to be able to change the order of Effects

Hey guys I'm not sure if that is possible yet but.. Is for sure amazing to be able to load 4 effects on each pad-sample-sound and overall and it surely helps on sound designing things. like for example if we just create a cool patch on the reverb effect on slot 1 and then we decide afterwards that we want to add a flanger before it we will have to delete that reverb because we are using the slot 1 and re-do it. Wouldn't be making our workflow easier, if we could just change the order of the effects within those slots? or even re-route the effects option (something more advanced). Thanks!

Nah Not happening as of this moment. What I do to kinda workaround it,

.....If I add an effect, I'll assign it to the 2nd Slot first. That way i can add an additional Effect on the 1st or 3rd slot to see what sounds better. Pre or Post.

Hey Emmanouil,

Thanks for posting!

As 40Beatz Inc mentioned, the MPC doesn't have the ability to reorder effect inserts. I agree that this would be a useful tool, as effect order can drastically change the signal. I'll be sure to forward your comments to the team for further consideration!

For the meantime, 40Beatz Inc made a great suggestion above of how to work around this.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your help, 40Beatz Inc!

It's well known that necessity is the mother of invention.

However, if one is aiming to make a tool and sell it to assist with something, why would I want it to lack in it's fundamental or basic operation? Sort of like having a claw hammer with a semi-flat face... not what one expects.

One wonders why but a fraction of update efforts go towards anything but that flat face. Now with a hammer it's understood, simply because it's sold a "fixed" tool. This computer is not. It can be and is modified by updates.

Your sarcastic remark about users wanting their MPC to make the beats for them, is somewhat funny indeed, but also not really. It's obviously akin to people saying that they want a hammer that makes the scaffolding for them. I don't think most would actually complain about it not building the scaffolding, it's understood.

Though your joke obviously is a joke (nor very creative), it diminishes the fact that Akai did sell people something akin to the hammer with a semi-flat surface. Unlike the hammer, they *can* fix the lacking parts, but elects not to.

Such things are not senseless complaints. Especially when the same complaints exist three years later. I don't know about you, nor do I care, but there were things on the MPC that did not even work when I bought the MPC X. I have also read posts by people that bought it way before me, and there were even more things that just were not implemented (BT, wi-fi, etc.).

I understand that you are of a different opinion, but that does not invalidate the opinion of others, nor does it make one worth more than others. But making fun of those of a different opinion is rather lacking in features and ought to inspire creativity... now where did I read that?

Well put! There is NO one tool that can fix everything! I work on cars also. I therefore have a Variety of Tools at my disposal. I have Flat hammers and I have Ball peen Hammers for different applications.
Never would expect One Hammer to build a house!
I apologize for the joking with you guys lol. My jokes are what they are, not creative nor meant to be!
I embrace one's comments n requests. I respect it to the fullest. Like one should do in response to my comments and beliefs!
So I validate everyones comments. And thank you for the Quote!
Limitation of One Tool Does Spawn Creativity.
