MPC Live Sample Browser problem

I'm on an MPC Live, using 2.6...is anyone having trouble in the "sample assign" window after loading a bunch of samples from the browser? When I click on a pad and then on a sample in the pool it takes a few times mashing the screen before the sample successfully assigns to a pad. And then sometimes it goes to the wrong pad. Anyone else having the same issue?

I remember some of the standalone users talking about how they changed this in 2.6. It used to map the sample to the pad when you selected the pad but now you have to confirm it after you select the pad I think? They did it so you aren't accidentally assigning stuff left and right hitting other pads you don't mean to. Maybe youre missing that step?

But don't mash on the screen! I've noticed the alignment of the screen is tedious and doesn't quite like up correctly. It does not have a wide gauge of select.
It helps to find your screens precision. My plus sign to add another plug in is only on the left prong of the us sign.

Hey Nick,

Thanks for posting!

As Yorgos mentioned, you have to double tap the sample to assign it to the pad. This was implemented in 2.6 to allow users to preview the sample without loading it directly to the pad. Press the pad that you want to assign and then double tap the sample to load it.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the help, Yorgos and Monotremata!

This isn't working for me in Controller Mode. See the attached picture. I double tapped the sample and instead of going to the green pad, it went to Pad A13.
