MPC live randomly triggers pad sounds while sitting idle (not playing)

Just got the MPC live...Love it 100! So, I load up an expansion and create my beat. Now when the MPC is stopped (not playing) random samples are triggered...not loudly but while it's sitting idle a random sound (ie., kick, snare will trigger and the pad it's assigned to will light.) Anyone else experience this?

Hey AD,

Thanks for posting! It's possible that your Live's Pad Sensitivity is set too high and/or the Pad Threshold too low. In which case, environmental vibrations caused by surrounding sound (usually low frequencies) could be triggering the pads. Try adjusting the trigger settings in your Hardware Preferences.

If you try that and you're still having some trouble, it could be hardware related. Our support team will be happy to help you take a closer look at what might be going on. Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

• Submit a Technical Support inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the Akai Pro Support Page. Select Technical Support from the drop down menu.

or

• For quicker support, call your nearest Support Office or International Distributor.

Make sure to reference or link this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have the problem as well, but it also occurs with data values. Random "adjustments " appear in the edit values as if I were adjusting the q-link knobs.
I've had my Live for 11 months and this problem has been occurring for about two months now.
